It's time to Get Your RED On! Seawolves men's hoops to RED-OUT BU Friday!
Stony Brook Basketball fans, the semester has begun, and it's time to Get Your RED On and support your Seawolves! This week, the men's & women's basketball teams will play three games at Pritchard Gymnasium. The men tip off Wednesday against Hartford at 7 p.m., putting their nine-game home winning streak on the line against the Hawks. The game will be televised locally on Optimum Local Channel 118.
Then on Friday night, the men's team will host a RED-OUT against Boston University at 9 p.m. All fans are encouraged to wear red in support of the Seawolves, who will be wearing the red jerseys for the occasion. Tickets to this game are SOLD OUT, but if you do not have your tickets already, you can watch on television because the game will be nationally televised on ESPNU and streamed online at ESPN3. For the student crowd, there will be prizes to win, so be sure to wear your RED.
The women's basketball team will wrap up the jam-packed week with a Saturday afternoon affair against Vermont at 2 p.m. The Seawolves knocked off the Catamounts up in Burlington earlier this month and will be looking for a clean sweep on Saturday.
