End of Fall 2011 Semester Campus Events!

Believe it or not it's almost the end of the Fall semester but there are still a number of great campus events on the schedule prior to Winter Intercession! Below are a select few but be sure to check out the Division of Student Life Facebook Page for the most up-to-date list!

Don't miss the last Open Craft Studio of the
semester. Come celebrate the holidays. Ornaments, candle jars, and more! There will be sweets too!

Santa Claus is Coming to Stony Brook December 7th!
Get into the holiday spirit with the Stony Brook Seawolves before the men’s basketball team takes on FaIrleigh Dickinson at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 7.

Visit Wolfie’s Winter Wonderland from 5:30PM to 7PM and take... your picture with Santa Claus for just $2. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies from Fratelli’s Marketplace of Stony Brook.

The game will be televised on Cablevision. Stony Brook students get in free with ID. For game tickets, visit www.goseawolves.org/tickets or call 632-WOLF.

The Festival of Lights
Wednesday, December 7th, 6:00pm-8:30pm, SAC Ballroom A

Join in this intercultural program that celebrates the diversity of religions during the Holiday Season: Christmas, Advent, & Three Kings Day (Christian); Hanukah (Jewish); Ramadan, Eid-ul Fitr & Eid-Adha (Muslim); Diwali (Hindu); and Kwanzaa (African American). Display tables, free crafts-making, and holiday foods at 6:00pm. Holiday presentations in song, dance, music, and poetry begin at 7:00pm. Culture Captured Photo Contest, Friday, December 9th, 5:00pm, UNITI Cultural Center, SB Union 135 
Think you have an eye for photography? Show us your talents! The UNITI Cultural Center is giving YOU the opportunity to capture culture through the lens of a camera and have your photograph displayed for the entire campus community to see through the 3rd annual CULTURE CAPTURED Photo Contest! FOUR members of our campus community will be awarded the honor of having their photograph enlarged and displayed at the UNITI Cultural Center for the 2012 calendar year.
